Allergy to Modern life brief: This series of images was my response to an aspect of modern life which I find most irritating - that of corruption, inherited priviledge, and so-called 'jobs for the boys'. I created a fictional cult named 'Mammon' through which I could visualise such problems. In this example, a sect of Monks who tried to live outside of the influence of Mammon have had their Monastary demolished as a punishment. Medium: Pencil drawings partly coloured in Photoshop but hand inked in places. |
